Tomorrow night sees the running of the James Brennan Memorial at Gloucester Park. The race was taken out by Our Jimmy Johnstone, pictured above, last year. Get the last word on all the key chances below.

RACE 1 – R U OK PACE

1.Greg Bond (Starlight Destiny): “Should be on speed and can make her presence felt.”

2.Emily Suvaljko (Rakasinc): “He has his quirks. Comes into this race in good form. We will be looking to find the top and he likes to run along so I think we will adopt the catch me if you can tactic.”

3.Ross Olivieri (Just Makemine Diamonds): “Hard race. The draw is okay. Should get a reasonable run. Place chance.”

4.Maddison Brown (Blissfulabbey): “Should get a good run close to the speed. Will be suited by the tempo that will be provided by Rakasinc. She’s racing well. Each way chance.”

6.Gary Hall Snr (Undercover Mac): “I don’t think he was stopping on the line behind Howard Hughes last week. More of a place chance from the draw which isn’t in our favour. The two will be the one to beat.”

7.Ross Olivieri (The Last Parisian): “Hard in this field with the draw unless they go mad early.”

9.Corey Peterson (El Sunami): “Just go back and find the rails early and hope for a few gaps.”

10.Dylan Egerton-Green (The Verandah): “Very handy draw. High speed and a good place hope.”

RACE 2 – RWWA’S RACING ASSIST PACE

1.Emily Suvaljko (Jack William): “Nice type and he usually has to do it tough in his races. Gets the ideal barrier draw and believe he has the gate speed to hold the quick beginners to his outside. We will look to go all the way.”

3.Ross Olivieri (Space Junk): “Happy with the horse. Could be a good or bad draw. Should be close enough to the lead to go alright though.”

5.Dylan Egerton-Green (Bracken Sky): “Awkwardly drawn. Racing well. Don’t rule him out of being a place hope with luck.”

6.Greg Bond (Captain Kirk): “Tricky barrier. Possible place chance.”

10.Jocelyn Young (Deeorse): “Nice draw but looks tough.”

11.Gary Hall Snr (Eloquent Mach): “He’s going no better or worse than last time. His work is as good as he’s always done. If he puts his best foot forward he’s a winning chance.”

12. Brett Smith (Mcardles Gem): “Racing well. Each way chance.”

RACE 3 – MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK

1.Corey Peterson (Sergeant Oats): “Has the good draw. Got options as to whether we sit or lead. I’ll speak to Courtney.”

2.Gary Hall Snr (Sir Galahad): “Hard to drive as he can hang. Race maps well for him and he should lead. He has to be outside the leader or in front.”

3.Matt Scott (Rock Me Over): “Freshened-up. Worked well on Saturday. Each way.”

4.Ross Olivieri (Jimmy Mack): “In there with a great chance. Depends on the run he gets.”

8.Jocelyn Young (Im Rocknroll Magic): “In fine form. Awkward draw. Needs some luck.”

9.David Young (Baylan Jett): “Back on track. Draw hurts but if they run it upside down they’ll know he’s there.”

10.Emily Suvaljko (Carter Micheal): “Looks tricky from the draw. Going well enough to be in the finish but will rely on a lot of luck. Looks like he will be three back on the pegs. Could be good or bad.”

11. Brett Smith (Burning Rubber): “Racing well. Each way chance.”

12.Gary Hall Snr (Extreme Prince): “Swap draws with Sir Galahad he’s a chance. Place from here.”

RACE 4 – MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING PACE

.Matt Scott (Always Arjay): “Sitting on the two. Hope he runs a better race.”

2.Gary Hall Snr (My Carbon Copy): “Thought he would lead and win. Runs have been good.”

3.Greg Bond (Courage Tells): “Place chance with the likely soft trip.”

5.Ross Olivieri (Gee Jay Kay): “Might drive him more conservatively. Happy with him but it’s hard to see where he gets in a strong race.”

8.Dylan Egerton-Green (Tyler Brett): “Working up well. Handicapping system makes his return to racing harder than it needs to be.”

9.Colin Brown (Patrickthepiranha): “Depends on the track conditions. Change of gear will improve him.”

RACE 5 – JAMES BRENNAN MEMORIAL

2.Ross Olivieri (Motu Premier): “Would like to see him lead. Don’t know if he can. He was knocked off balance on his last run. Very good field. Look for him to show form.”

3.Michael Brennan (Sangue Reale): “He’s getting better and better. He’s just starting to hit his straps. He’ll dive to the fence and that’s his best pattern.”

4.Micheal Ferguson (Waylade): “Better draw but tough field which makes it tough again.”

5.Emily Suvaljko (Talkerup): “Steps up against some nice horses. Look to press forward and get cover on one of the fancies.”

6.Ryan Bell (Shockwave): “Got him as forward as I can have him. Will leave it up to Aiden.”

7.Gary Hall Snr (Chicago Bull): “Shockwave has to stay in front of him. Aiden probably has more decisions to make than Jnr does.”

8.Greg Bond (Galactic Star): “Tricky race but still has a winning chance.”

9.Giles Inwood (Bettor Party): “Career best run last week. Worked the best he’s worked since I’ve had him. Drawing nine makes him a tough hope for fourth or fifth.”

RACE 6 – VALE SPIRO MALLIS PACE

1.Kyle Harper (Im Johnny Jet): “Has the draw and speed to pick what we sit on. Great place claims.”

3.Ash Markham (Sammys Ideal): “Needs luck. Hopefully settles and runs on.”

4.Giles Inwood (Captain Mannering): “My best chance of the night. Worked sensationally and ran a 54 last half. Hood type blinkers go on to sharpen him up.”

5.Lindsay Harper (Bettorstartdreaming): “Disappointing last week. Put him in the race and was very lacklustre. Hood winkers go on and the blocks go off. With the gear change we are hoping for more speed.”

6.Greg Bond (The Buckeye Bullet): “Looks a nice race for him. Good chance.”

7.Ross Olivieri (Quick Stride): “Fooled us all by winning. Sectionals at Pinjarra were good last start. He can shake this race up.”

10.Emily Suvaljko (Anime): “Gets a nice draw. Drops back from FFA to his own grade. If they run along he’s a top five chance.”

RACE 7 – YOU CAN TALK PACE

1.Lindsay Harper (Ohoka Titan): “Unlucky last Friday. Went to the line without a run. Lacklustre on Tuesday though. On last Friday he’s a chance but he’s not a chance off Tuesday’s run.”

2.Matt Scott (C C Chevron): “Getting fitter. Around the place. Can run a place.”

3.Jocelyn Young (Pierre Whitby): “Always around the place. Each way.”

4.Michael Brennan (Braeview Bondi): “Think he’s going to be pretty hard to beat. I can’t see anything underneath him holding him out.”

5.Matt Scott (Qtown Rip Roaring): “If it’s run upside down he’s got knock out claims.”

6.Corey Peterson (A Boy Named Rosie): “Tricky draw. Probably just slot in and hope for luck.”

7.Emily Suvaljko (Bob Wheel): “Hasn’t recaptured his best form. Will speak to Craig in regards to what we do off the arm.”

8.Kyle Harper (Black Jack Zac): “Still looking for a draw. Racing well.”

9.Gary Hall Snr (Tuas Delight): “One paced horse. Tough draw for him.”

RACE 8 – CHECK IN ON YOUR MATES PACE

1.Ross Olivieri (Kiwi Bloke): “Wildwest got him last start as a superior horse. This will be harder for Wildwest given the additional traffic. He will give a good run for the money.”

2.Dylan Egerton-Green (Gonzos Shadow): “Nice draw. Hope for a safe getaway. With the right run he’s an each way chance.”

3.Giles Inwood (The Party Boy): “May be outclassed. Place chanceif he can cross and find the rails. Will win a city race when he finds the right field and the rail.”

4.Greg Bond (Where Ya Bin): “Racing solidly. Each way.”

5.Corey Peterson (Call Me Ernie): “Hope to step and find a spot. Needs some luck.”

6.Giles Inwood (Disco Under Fire): “Will win one when he can find the rail. Quick back up from Monday. Hope Shannon can step him and find a nice position.”

7.Matt Scott (Clarenden Hustler): “Track work has been a lot better. Place chance at best.”

9.Ash Markham (Budd Sidewinder): “Needs luck to find the rail. Hard this week.”

10.Michael Brennan (Rebel With A Grin): “Wasn’t sure what to make of his run last time. Put it down to the wet track. If he disappoints again we will go to the paddock.”

11.Michael Brennan (Forgotten Highway): “Was disappointing against Patronus Star. Much better when he’s chasing. Expect big improvement from him tomorrow night.”

12.Gary Hall Snr (Wildwest): “Handled last week well. Got home well. Didn’t want to race him against Bully. It’s the same race he won first-up here but a bigger field.”

RACE 9 – REACH OUT AND SPEAK FILLIES AND MARES PACE

1.Greg Bond (Donegal Art Chokin): “Place chance.”

2.Greg Bond (Weewah): “Place chance.”

4.Colin Brown (Typhoon Tiff): “Looks a two horse race. Bond horse may have ability. We have it in the draw. May come down to who has it right on the night.”

5.Greg Bond (Our Alfie Romeo): “Looks a good race for her.”

7.Jocelyn Young (Has No Fear): “Draw hurts.”

8.Greg Bond (Twilight Saga): “Place at best.”

RACE 10 – BREAKDOWN THE STIGMA OF MENTAL HEALTH PACE

1.Greg Bond (Intheskyrocket) “Strong chance from the barrier.”

2.Emily Suvaljko (Shes All Star): “Drop behind the one and see if she’s good enough on the night. Gets her chance to run top three.”

4.Dylan Egerton-Green (Star In Art): “Tricky race. Great place hope if she gets the right run.”

6.John Graham (Miss Eerie): “Hope she can run in the money again. The one will be hard to beat. She’s one of the main players though.”

7.David Young (Fireball Friday): “Went terrible two starts ago but that was due to the terribly hard Pinjarra track. Went better last start and have changed her work to keep her off the hard track. Sneaky third or fourth even from the draw.”

8.Jocelyn Young (Remit Me Whitby): “Draw hurts.”
