Albion Park?s $100,000 Group One Brisbane Sales Race is exclusively restricted to the 36 pacing yearlings

The numbers suggest there is no better option for any harness racing enthuses to chase  Gr.1 glory than the $100,000 APG Brisbane Sales Race that’s restricted to a maximum of just 37 horses.

Albion Park (in the minds of some) has gained the healthy reputation as having the best and fairest racing in Australia. This sales race certainly adds  value on top of the amazing opportunities the APG/Qbred For Life Eligible horses will have going forward.

Racing Qld should be congratulated for the ground breaking concept of the QBRED for life, put simply, its  Australia's best incentive scheme for breeders and owners!

QBRED is an incentive scheme delivering $2 Million in additional returns for breeders and owners of harness horses bred and racing in Queensland.

With a lucrative range of exclusive stakes and bonuses on offer, only QBRED registered horses race for:

• $10,000 QBRED ‘First Win’ Bonus
• $7,500 QBRED ‘Second Win’ Bonus
• $1,000 QBRED Cash bonuses (300 specified races per year)
• Exclusive rich QBRED Race Series

Some of harness racing’s biggest stars have been QBRED registered, including Blacks A Fake, Be Good Johnny, Forever Gold, Majestic Mach, Leo’s Best, Bettor Promise, Bettorthanspecial, Catcha Lefty, Colt Thirty One and Smart As Camm Be.

The 2019/20 Racing Season opens an exciting new chapter of the QBRED bonus scheme, with the introduction of ‘QBRED For Life’.

‘QBRED For Life’ removes the age restrictions on the first and second win bonus (providing the applicable entry fees are paid), while also offering access to the QBRED Cash Bonuses.

This means that QBRED benefits will be available to Standardbreds of all ages.

This provides owners and breeders with enduring benefits and means there will now be less pressure to breed a horse early in the season and less pressure on horses having to win their bonus by the end of a season, while also ensuring horses that mature later in life maintain the opportunity to win lucrative bonuses for their connections.

To celebrate the exciting opportunities now available in QLD and to support the efforts of the breeders/consignors in this state, please join us at Albion Park tomorrow ( Sunday 26th ) from 9am for a complimentary breakfast, followed by free beverages from 10 am to 11am.

Please note, we will have online and telephone bidding options available if you are unable to attend. If you have any issues with the online registrations, John Coffey has personally inspected all of the Brisbane yearlings and will be pleased to answer any questions that you may have on the individuals featuring in the sale, or to bid on your behalf.  John can be contacted on 0418 500 211.

Please phone Louise Toulmin on 0400 950 699 or e-mail her at louiset@apgold.com.au and she’ll be pleased to assist you with your pre-sale bidding approvals or to answer any other questions that you may have
