BRIAN HANCOCK

awarded

THE “ERN MANEA” IDHRC GOLD MEDAL

The Inter Dominion Harness Racing Council at its recent Annual General Meeting in Brisbane awarded Brian Paul Hancock of Albion Park, New South Wales the above Australasian Recognition Award for his Inter Dominion achievements and continuing charitable contribution.

Chairman Robert Marshall, in announcing this important award, congratulated Brian on his achievement and contribution to the Spirit, Ideals and Competitiveness of this internationally recognised Event. In addition, Brian has unselfishly assisted in the Event’s promotion, where asked, by Conducting Clubs.  Brian Hancock’s career continues as a trainer.  His charity work illustrates an approach outside the norm of his harness racing role as a professional trainer and previously as a licensed driver.

His Inter Dominion racing and training achievements are well documented, particularly his partnership with Our Sir Vancelot NZ.  They are outstanding.

This Award will be presented during the Pacers Championship Series in Hobart 2006.

The Inter Dominion Community congratulates and recognises Brian Hancock for his valued and continuing contribution.
