The annual Ken Miller Memorial Pace series is on again at Warragul with heats on Monday, May 22, into a final a fortnight later.

The event is for C0 assessed horses aged four and over, with no more than two lifetime wins.

Excellent prizemoney is on offer, with heats worth $7000 and the 2210m final carrying $9500 in stakes.

In addition, a trophy and inscribed rug will be presented to the winner, having been kindly donated by Vera Miller.

The Warragul and District Light Harness Club volunteers have also donated a Dooza racing sulky, which will be given away to one lucky trainer who has a runner in the final.

The random draw (each trainer in the final receives one ticket in the draw regardless of how many starters they qualify), will take place before the big event on Monday, June 5.

Ken Miller was a past president and life member of the Warragul and District Light Harness Club, and was a big supporter of the trotting sport in Gippsland.

Warragul officials are hopeful of a large number of entries for next week's heats, given the excellent prizemoney on offer.
