Gallifrey Mystique needs luck not love

ACCORDING to The Beatles ‘all you need is love’, but as far as Aaron Bain is concerned all you need is luck!

Bain believes that’s the main necessity with Gallifrey Mystique at Globe Derby on Saturday night.

Co-trained by Bain and Jake Webster, Gallifrey Mystique is engaged in the Country Graduation Series Final, where she has drawn the inside of the back row.

“From that draw she will have to be driven quietly and hope for the right run,” Bain said. “We’ll just have to take our chances and hope for luck to come our way.

“She is actually better when driven with a sit, so that’s no problem, it’s just a matter of getting the right passage with her.”

Citing Sheluvsme as the main danger, Bain feels Hilltop Sophia could hold the key to the race, particularly Gallifrey Mystique’s prospects.

Sheluvsme will begin from barrier two, while Hilltop Sophia has drawn the pole.

“The draw has evened out the field, with Sheluvsme the one to beat from two,” Bain said. “It’s a good draw for Hilltop Sophia and a lot will be determined on whether she leads or takes a sit.

“That will place us behind the leader or two-back along the inside.”
