BIGGER and better.

That’s the stern warning co-trainer Shane Tritton has intimated about his two-year-old pacers heading into the Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival which kicks off tonight.

Team Tritton has a three-pronged attack aimed at the rich juvenile series and representing the stable in tonight’s heats of the Bathurst Gold Tiara is debut winner My Sweetchilliphilly (pictured).

The filly had her first look at this track last month and won rating the mile in 1:55.3.

She has not been seen publically since but Team Tritton is confident about her prospects.

And the stable is just as confident with her stablemate Divine State who will race in this Saturday night’s Gold Crown heats at Bathurst.

“Divine State and Chilli are both further improved than their last runs,” Tritton said.

“I expect them both to run serious races.”

My Sweetchilliphilly faces heat six tonight and her only other rival that has won a race has drawn right beside her in barrier five.

That filly is Pacific Cullen which won for the KerryAnn Turner stable at Tabcorp Park Menangle last week clocking 1:56.

Team Tritton was originally taking two horses to Bathurst tonight but yesterday scratched their talented pacer Anything For Love from the Hondo Grattan Sprint.

“He had a high temperature,” Tritton said.

“There is no clear reason for the temp at this stage as the horse seems very healthy.”

However, Team Tritton are taking a truckload to Bathurst on Saturday night headed by Divine State and Lynnsanity who is also engaged in a Gold Crown heat.

Lynnsanity won on debut at Bathurst last month and he rated 1:59.6.

However, the colt is faced with a second row draw unlike his last start.

“It’s a tricky draw for him but he is versatile,” Tritton said.

Team Tritton will also take their pacers Eh Ef El and Im Twice The Delight over the Blue Mountains.

Eh Ef El is another first-up winner for the stable when successful at his first Australian start at Bankstown last Monday week.

The gelding beat his rivals by more than 43 metres.
