The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong nine race program this Saturday night.
And the opening race has attracted an even field of 12 pacers with several in-form runners set to contest the UBET Pace over the 2138m.
In what shapes as an extremely open affair, punters will find value but the ideally drawn Monarkmac will command plenty of attention after landing gate three.
Prepared by leading horseman Grant Dixon and to be driven by his in-form wife Trista, Monarkmac looks well placed and should be in the firing line early.
Tough pacer Chal Fire must overcome a difficult second-line draw but his recent efforts also give him a great shot of taking glory, the Western Terror gelding is the winner of 12 races at Albion Park and boasts solid claims despite the draw.
Others to consider include Forty Seven Flash, Monumental, Always Prompt, Royal Jacquard, Gallymont Sport, Proby One, Fascinator and Jester Oh Jester.
The UBET – Multi Builder Open Pace creates plenty of interest with a small but intriguing field gathered to contest the 1660m event.
In-form mare Joys A Babe draws ideally while Teo Enteo, Destreos and Jackaroo Bromac looming as logical threats.
Former Sydney pacer Ive Gottalife failed in his first Brisbane start but has since bounced back with a stylish trial effort at Albion Park last week.
Ive Gottalife has drawn the inside gate for trainer/driver Trevor Lambourn.
Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 First 4 pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.
A guaranteed Quadrella of $20,000 is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.
Last week, the UBET quaddie dividend was in excess of $7500.
UBET have also slated $2000 jackpot trifecta pools on races 3, 4, 5 & 6.
