RACE 7 – WIMMERA MAIL-TIMES HORSHAM PACING CUP (GROUP 2)
Alan Tubbs, trainer of Tee Cee Bee Macray, has reported that the gelding pulled up poorly subsequent to the race. Mr Tubbs added that Tee Cee Bee Macray was breathing very heavily in the aftermath of the race and that the gelding had his wind cut off during the run which contributed to the performance. Mr Tubbs further added that Tee Cee Bee Macray was sent to the Ballarat Veterinary Practice Equine Clinic subsequent to the race where the gelding underwent a digital scope and additional throat tests and no significant abnormalities were detected. Mr Tubbs advised Tee Cee Bee Macray will be fitted with a cornell collar when the gelding returns to racing after a let up.

RACE 7 – JET ROOFING PACE (1ST HEAT)
Scott Dyer, trainer of At West Point NZ, has reported that blood tests taken the gelding have failed to reveal any abnormalities. Mr Dyer added that At West Point NZ had pulled up fine subsequent to the race and had worked well since. At West Point is engaged to race at Cobram on 19 January 2017 and Ballarat on 21 January 2017.
Mildura – 11 January 2017
RACE 8 – MILDURA WORKING MAN’S CLUB PACE
Boris Devcic, trainer of Ricciardo, has reported that the gelding pulled up fine subsequent to the race. Mr Devcic added that he was disappointed with the performance of Ricciardo and at a loss to explain the reasons for the performance. Mr Devcic further added that Ricciardo had since been returned to the gelding’s previous trainer Mark Thompson.
Tabcorp Park Melton – 13 January 2017
RACE 5 – ALABAR PACE
Michael Stanley, trainer/driver of Highview Christina NZ, has reported that the mare pulled up with stiff muscles subsequent to the race which indicated the muscle enzyme levels of the mare to be higher than normal. Mr Stanley added that Highview Christina NZ was given a couple of days rest after the performance but the mare had worked well since.
RACE 6 – TAB.COM.AU VICBRED PACE
Wayne Potter, trainer of Warfare, has reported that blood tests taken from the gelding have failed to reveal any abnormalities. Mr Potter added that Warfare had pulled up fine subsequent to the race and had worked well since. Mr Potter further added that he may have backed up Warfare too quickly after the run at Shepparton on 6 January 2017 which might have contributed to the performance.
