VICTORIAN horseman Brent Lilley is planning a strong assault on Saturday night’s Globe Derby meeting.

With the South Australia Cup the highlight of the program, Lilley has nominations in several key features.

Nominations closed with Harness Racing SA earlier this morning, with well-performed pair Messini and Lets Elope entered for the Group One Cup.

Lets Elope is a last start winner of the Tasmania Cup, while Messini was a luckless sixth in the Cobram Cup on the same night.

Lilley also has a pair listed for the Derby, with King Solomon successful at two of his three runs since crossing the Tasman.

The son of Bettors Delight is joined by stablemate Our Jimmie, which boasts five wins from six Aussie outings.

Having finished second during the past two years, connections of Zedalite are hoping third time is a charm as he contests the Trotters’ Cup.

Fields are due to be released at 3pm today.
