HRV Stewards have issued a charge against licensed trainer Mr Des Hilton under Australian Harness Racing Rule (AHRR) 190 (1) which provides:

A horse shall be presented for a race free of prohibited substances

It is alleged that the horse Itmademyday was presented to race at Mildura on 19 June 2015 by Mr Hilton when not free of arsenic, a prohibited substance when evidenced by a concentration above the allowable threshold. A log book charge was also issued against Mr Hilton.

The charges will be heard by the HRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on a date to be fixed.
