Ladbrokes becomes Official Naming Rights Partner of the APG Sales and Race Series

24 October 2016 | APG

Australian Pacing Gold (APG) is excited to announce that corporate bookmaker, Ladbrokes, has partnered with APG to become the official naming rights partner of both the APG Yearling Sales and Race Series.

APG’s General Manager, David Boydell, welcomed the Ladbrokes partnership and believes that it will deliver enormous benefits to all stakeholders.

“APG is delighted to have a committed and passionate partner like Ladbrokes on board as our official naming rights sponsor for both the Ladbrokes APG Yearling Sales and the Ladbrokes APG Race Series,” said Boydell.

“Vendors and buyers alike will benefit, as Ladbrokes’ support will enable us to further increase marketing and coverage of the sales, as well as boost funding for the race series”

The partnership is for a minimum three year period, and takes immediate effect.  To celebrate the partnership, APG has undergone a rebrand, changing its colours to a more contemporary red and white combination and introducing a new Ladbrokes APG logo.

Ladbrokes Chief Marketing Officer, Jason Kibsgaard, was equally enthusiastic about the new partnership.

“Ladbrokes is committed to growing and promoting harness racing wagering throughout Australia, so the opportunity to partner Australia’s leading sales company and Australia’s richest juvenile race series is a great fit for our business,” explained Kibsgaard.

“As part of our partnership with APG, we will be looking to offer some exciting promotions for APG buyers that will help to make the ownership experience even more rewarding”.
