Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards have issued four charges under the Australian Harness Racing Rules (AHRR) against licensed trainer/driver Mr Nathan Jack. These charges arise out of a race meeting conducted at Bendigo on 11 August 2016.
The first charge issued is under the provisions of AHRR 231 (2) which states:
A person shall not misconduct himself in any way:-
It is alleged that on 11 August 2016 Mr Jack did misconduct himself by directing improper comments towards HRV Starter Graeme Morgan.
The remaining charges issued are under the provisions of AHRR 247 which states:
A person attending before the Controlling Body its members or employees, the Stewards, Officials, or at any proceedings under these rules, shall not speak or behave in a malicious, intimidatory or otherwise improper manner:-
It is alleged that during an inquiry held on 11 August 2016 at the Bendigo Harness Racing Club Mr Jack made improper, malicious comments and also behaved in an improper and intimidatory manner before the Stewards panel.
These charges will be heard before the HRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on a date to be fixed.
