Harness Racing Australia (HRA) has approved the use of the Spyder Gorilla Sulky in racing and trial events, effective from 25 August 2016.  This sulky has been approved with the proviso that a bar or plate is securely attached across the back of the two bars under the seat and must be checked by a Steward before use in trials or races.

As part of the HRA approval process the sulky has been tested for strength, durability and performance by Human Impact Engineering.  It has also been used in trials under the supervision of Stewards.

The Spyder Gorilla sulky conforms to all the requirements of the HRA Sulky Approval Policy and meets the HRA Sulky Standard.
