Champion trotter Lyell Creek (pictured) will be out to take his unbeaten Moonee Valley record to a perfect 10 when he lines up in Saturday nights $100,000 SEW-Eurodrive Australian Trotting Grand Prix at Moonee Valley.

Dubbed The Freak, the New Zealand superstar will be in search of his 16th Group 1 title and his 57th career win when he makes what is his final Australian appearance.

Despite being well into the veterans category at the age of 11, the remarkable trotter is expected to start favourite in what will be his first appearance at Moonee Valley since capturing the Group 1 Bill Collins Mile on April 7, 2001.

Hoping to spoil his farewell party are defending titleholder Sumthingaboutmaori, last Fridays runaway Bill Collins Mile winner Sammy Do Good and runner-up, the New Zealand-trained speedster, Allegro Agitato.

Sumthingaboutmaori, the reigning Inter Dominion champion, was unlucky in the Mile when held up and is tipped to lead the challenge against Lyell Creek from gate four.

The field for the $100,000 SEW-Eurodrive Australian Trotting Grand Prix (2570m), to be run at 8.30pm on Saturday at Moonee Valley, is;
