Fifty-eight people attended last night’s consultation forum at Bendigo to provide their views on the Harness Racing Victoria Strategic (HRV) Plan 2020 Consultation Paper and help shape the future direction of the industry.

The attendees saw a presentation of the HRV Strategic Plan 2020 Consultation Paper by CEO John Anderson and were given the opportunity to provide feedback to Chairman Ken Latta, Board Members Elizabeth Clarke and Geoff Kay as well as General Manager – Operations Vaughn Lynch.

Mr Anderson said he was appreciative of those making the effort to attend and was pleased with some of the feedback provided from a passionate audience.

“I hope all who attended walked away with a better understanding of the strategic direction of harness racing in Victoria. Similarly several constructive suggestions for HRV will be incorporated in the final Plan,” Mr Anderson said.

The next consultation forums will be held at Shepparton on Tuesday September 22 and Tabcorp Park Melton on Wednesday September 23, both from 7pm.

Everyone interested in harness racing in Victoria is strongly encouraged to attend.

There is also an online form where you can have your say on the HRV Strategic Plan 2020 Consultation Paper.  Access the form here: http://www.hrv.org.au/general/consultation
