Heathcote girl Georgia Edsall-French, 15, tragically lost her life in a car crash.

Harness Racing Victoria today launched the Edsall-French Family Fundraiser online auction, to support family of Heathcote girl Georgia Edsall-French, 15, who was killed in a car crash in Queensland last week.

HRV, the Bendigo Harness Racing Club, the Association of Victorian Country Harness Racing Clubs, Alabar and Poggaharness.com have joined forces and donated items for the auction, which is now live online and will run for 12 days.

Terry French, Georgia's father, is a harness racing trainer based in Heathcote.

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the fund set up by the Heathcote Football Club to support the Edsall-French family during this time.

 

The items for auction are:

Breeders Crown Package for 10 people (Value $1100, donated by HRV)

- Toolern Room Table for 10 people on Breeders Crown Super Sunday, Tabcorp Park August 30
- Racecourse admission
- 4 x course dining; plate entree, gourmet buffet for main, dessert platters and afternoon tea
- Beverage package comprising beer, wine and soft drink
- Tea and coffee throughout day
- Racebook
- Hosted event with special guests to share knowledge and tips throughout day
