Maddison Brown chasing Kristy Sheehy for the 2015 Garrard's Concession Drivers Challenge title

Twenty year old Kristy Sheehy is poised to win a second Garrard’s Concession Drivers Challenge as she currently holds a five point lead over Maddison Brown and a seven point lead over Cody Wallrodt heading into tomorrow night’s final race of the Challenge at Bunbury.

With a maximum ten points available tomorrow night Brown and Wallrodt would need to win and Sheehy finish worse than fifth to lose the title and the $2,000 cash prize and associated trip to Sydney to represent Western Australia in the NSW Rising Stars Series.

In the event of a tie on points Sheehy is better placed than her rivals as three of her five wins this season have come in heats of the Garrard’s Challenge. Brown has won one heat and Wallrodt two heading into tomorrow’s race.

The battle for the Series Three prize of a $500 Garrard’s voucher plus trophy prize is far closer and any one of the leading six drivers could take out the prize depending on finishing positions as just three points separate the leading six drivers.
