The industry is advised that the harness race track and the training (jog) track at Albion Park are to undergo major works commencing Thursday morning 23 April 2015 from 6:00am that will make for an enhanced racing surface on the race track, reduce the leader bias and improve the structure and surface of the training track.

The Albion Park Harness Racing Club is most appreciative to Racing Queensland through the endeavours of its CEO Darren Condon for the funding to undertake this important project as well as the professional support also afforded to the club by the control body.

The Chairman David Fowler said ‘the decision by Racing Queensland to fund this project is one that will hold the industry in good stead into the future and will be greatly appreciated by those who campaign at Albion Park’.

Patience and co-operation during these works will be greatly appreciated with great care to be taken moving around the complex at all times as there will be a volume of heavy earth moving machinery on site.
