CHAMPION drivers Jody Jamieson and Tim Tetrick publicly reinforced their friendship with Australia’s Chris Alford through a stunning display of generosity at the recent Harness Racing Travelworld Inter Dominion Calcutta Dinner in Sydney.

Canadian Jamieson and American Tetrick along with the ultimate winner Dexter Dunn formed a close bond with Alford, and the four signed a green and gold Australian shirt which was subsequently auctioned with all proceeds going to the neurofibromatosis (NF)

Chris and Alison Alford’s daughter Katie was diagnosed with NF four years ago.

The shirt was knocked down for $2000 to Tetrick who immediately donated it back to be auctioned for a second time.

The replay saw a spirited bidding duel between Jamieson and his father Carl with Jamieson the successful bidder at $2000.

The $4000 donated by Jamieson and Tetrick along with $500 donations from Gloucester Park and Harness Racing Travelworld brought the tally to $6,314 raised for research in to neurofibromatosis.
