Kate Gath will drive in the Noel Smith Memorial Invitation Drivers' Championship at Horsham.

The Horsham & District Harness Racing Club has today announced the list of invited drivers to contest the time honoured Noel Smith Memorial Invitation Drivers Championship to be conducted at Horsham on Monday 9 March.

Chris Alford, Kate Gath, Gavin Lang and Greg Sugars will represent Victoria, while the visitors will be headlined by recently crowned World Driving Champion Dexter Dunn (New Zealand). The other visiting drivers are Colin Brown (Western Australia), Bart Cockburn (Queensland), Rohan Hillier (Tasmania), Ryan Hryhorec (South Australia) and dual Inter Dominion winning reinsman James Rattray (New South Wales).

The series will comprise four races with the invited drivers being randomly allocated a drive in each race.

The winning horse in each race will not incur a handicapping penalty.

Trainers are advised that nominations close at Noon on Wednesday 4 March.
