Andy Gath's tweet, which shows how wet things are at Ballarat tonight.
The big Tontine Final and A.J. Prendergast Memorial Oaks Trial meeting down for Ballarat tonight has been washed out by a Victorian summer downpour.
Persistent and heavy rain fell at Bray Raceway late this afternoon forcing stewards to pull the pin on the meeting at 6.05pm.
Harness Racing Victoria officials are working with the club on potentially re-scheduling the two feature races to a later date and an announcement will be made as soon as possible.
Trainer Andy Gath tweeted a photo of the track under water, which clearly depicts the track as more suitable for seahorses than standardbreds.
