The Albion Park Harness Racing Club is gearing up for a big weekend of action.

Across the weekend, the Beer Incider Festival will take place at the metropolitan club and many are expected to enjoy the festivities.

But the main action takes place on the racetrack.

A strong nine race program is scheduled featuring the return to racing of the state’s best open class performer in Avonnova who lines up in the $14,000 Kelse’s Cup over 2138m.

The weekly $16,000 Seymour Rising Stars Championship Final features several emerging talents who qualified in heats on Tuesday.

And gambling giant TattsBet are offering juicy jackpots including a $30,000 Trifecta carryover on the opening race.

So, Trot Tips is keen to assist.

“It shapes as a great weekend of action at Albion Park this weekend and the jackpots look ripe for the picking including the trifecta jackpot. The first race looks very interesting owing to the fact we have the richly talented Wicked Style making his race return while several other runners possess very strong recent form.” Trot Tips Mick Polster said.

The Shawn Grimsey trained six-year-old hasn’t raced since January this year after injuring his offside front tendon but his recent trial form indicates he’s ready to continue with his winning form.

Wicked Style won his last five starts prior to injury but finished second in his most recent trial at Albion Park behind Avonnova on September 9.

“I’m prepared to think Wicked Style is a good business risk being first-up from a bad draw while he meets several fit and in-form rivals. Don’t get me wrong, this horse commands plenty of respect but it’s going to be tough to win first-up from this draw and he’s likely to be favourite because of his overall record plus his record here at Albion Park.

“I think Screaman Seaman and Yaholyterror both have excellent chances because they look the leader /behind leader option, both are racing well and look very suited from their good draws. I would also factor in both Montana Falcon and Gooday Stride on the first line of your trifecta combinations.

“Place chances include Miysis, Supabet and Hawthornden. I will play around with all these runners for varying amounts in several different combinations. I think it’s a great punting program on Saturday night with several good races to play including Ideal Tact (Race 8) and Avonnova (Race 6).”

TattsBet also have a $5000 First 4 carryover on the second race.

The first race is scheduled to start at 5.40pm
