Penrith Prizemoney Increases

As part of the promised weekly review of the new handicapping system, Harness Racing NSW is set to change the previously advertised prizemoney for meetings conducted by the Penrith Harness Racing Club.

“An anomaly had occurred with the scheduling of Secondary Meetings which required immediate attention,” said HRNSW CEO John Dumesny.

“The Board endorsed the rectification of the scheduling as a priority which should comfort participants who had raised genuine concerns.”

The following meetings will now become Primary Meetings:

This proactive move by Harness Racing NSW involves a restructure of the meeting categorisation at Penrith between the early and latter stages of the 2014/15 racing season.

Harness Racing NSW (HRNSW) is the controlling body for harness racing in New South Wales with responsibility for commercial and regulatory management of the industry including 31 racing clubs across the State.  HRNSW is headed by an industry-appointed Board of Directors and is independent of Government.
