Drivers named for annual Mildura invitation series

The Mildura Harness Racing Club has revealed the 10 drivers who will contest this year’s Invitation Drivers Championship at the club’s AFL grand final night meeting later this month.

The four-race series will be held on Saturday, September 27, with leading drivers Chris Alford, Shayne Cramp, Gary Hall Jr, Danielle Hill, Nathan Jack, Gavin Lang, Kerryn Manning, Lisa Miles, Jodi Quinlan and Amy Tubbs to battle for supremacy.

All Invitation Drivers Championship races are penalty free and nominations for the meeting close at noon on Monday, September 22.

The four races in the series will include a C3 to C5 Pace over 2190 metres, a C2 only pace over 1790 metres, a C1 only pace over 2190 metres and a C0 pace over 1790 metres.

Horses will be randomly allocated one of the 10 invited drivers in each of the races.
