Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) today acting under the provisions of Rule 183 has suspended the license of Trainer/ Driver Mr Mark Hewitt effective immediately after receiving advise from the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory (ARFL) that O-desmethylvenlafaxine, has been detected in a post race urine sample taken from CHLOES VENTURE following it winning race 3, the Turners Furniture One Pace (2100 metres) at Young on Saturday, 15 March 2014.
The “B” sample has been confirmed by Racing Analytical Services Limited in Victoria.
