South Australian harness racing historian Andrew Chapman has compiled a history of Australian and New Zealand Feature Races.
It has been a painstaking process to compile this information, and Harness Racing Australia is pleased to publish the information in their Race Chronicles on the national website.
The files include the first three placegetters of all major races run in Australia and New Zealand until the end of the most recent completed racing season (2012/13). There are many historical feature races of the past, including races which commenced before World War 2, as well as the modern races that contemporary followers of the sport are familiar with.
Race distance, time or mile rate and handicaps (if any) of the placed horses are included. There is a complete list of all races at the beginning of the file.
