The controlling body has introduced the Ready to Race Raffle to encourage new owners into the sport of harness racing.
Only One Slim is trained by Blake Fitzpatrick and he has high hopes for the son of Ponder and Spirit of Australia.
“Only One Slim has improved on his first preparation and I’m looking forward to his upcoming campaign, “said Fitzpatrick.
“He’s a versatile type with good gate speed and is bred to improve. I’m looking at racing him consistently at Tabcorp Park Menangle and the Newcastle Derby should suit him as well.”
Six hundred raffle tickets will be sold at $100 each with 10 lucky punters winning a share in the promising three-year-old. Each share is valued at $3500 each.
The 10 raffle winners will own the horse outright, with all the costs covered by HRNSW in the first 12-months.
Tickets will be on sale up to Saturday March 23 with the prize winners being drawn out at the Tabcorp Park Menangle meeting that evening.
