The TAB has thrown its weight behind Sunday’s Breeders Crown Finals Day at Tabcorp Park Melton.

They are guaranteeing that the Quaddie pool will reach a minimum $150,000!

To be held between races 5-8, the first leg is set to go at 3:13pm.

Renowned harness racing expert and TAB Media Manager Adam Hamilton, along with TAB Wagering Media Officer Andrew Georgiou, have provided you with some recommended tips for the Quaddie.

On top of boasting a sensational Quaddie pool, TAB Fixed Odds also has two ‘Racing Extras’ markets available on top of offering Fixed Odds for the entire program.

The ‘Racing Extras’ markets are:

*The Master Puppet – Chris Alford’s number of winning drives at the meeting (Over/Under 2.5)

*Australia v New Zealand – Most Wins Handicap (Aus -4.5, NZ +4.5)

PLEASE NOTE: There will be non-standard exotic legs for the Quaddie (5-8, NSW and VIC TAB), Daily Double (6 & 8, NSW and VIC) and the BIG6 (4-9, VIC only).

SUGGESTED QUADDIE TIPS

ADAM HAMILTON – TAB Media Manager

LEG ONE

BORDER CONTROL hard to beat, but no good thing. FRANCO NELSON looks set to sit on his back and will be greatly improved by a big run in the semi last week. BIT OF A LEGEND would have been top pick had he not been ruled out of the barrier draw. FLAMING FLUTTER has been a huge improver in recent weeks.

Selections: 1, 2, 3, 12

LEG TWO

Obvious pick is SHAKE IT MAMA. Monster semi run and draw to find the lead, which gives her a big advantage. TWIST AND TWIRL has been awesome winning her past two, but draw makes it harder. BEAUTY SECRET is an underrated stablemate of Shake It Mama and draws to give a great sight. MARQUESS DE POSH is going too well to dismiss event from the horror wide draw.

Selections: 1, 3, 7, 10

LEG THREE

This is the wide leg for mine. TEXICAN and FLY LIKE AN EAGLE are the hardest to beat, but how the race is run could see an upset result. LETS ELOPE, SOHO VALENCIA, MR NICKEL and WALDEBURG all went well enough in the semis to have winning hopes.

Selections: 1, 3, 4, 7, 9, 13

LEG FOUR

I can’t split the big three – MUSTANG MACH, CARIBBEAN BLASTER and EXCEL STRIDE – and also giving ABETTORPUNT a winning chance.

Selections: 3, 4, 11, 12

ANDREW GEORGIOU – TAB Wagering Media Officer

LEG ONE

FRANCO NELSON went enormous last week after starting from outside of the second line. Drawn the pole and likely to be in the firing line throughout, he is the one to beat. Definite dangers are FLAMING FLUTTER and BORDER CONTROL.

Selections: 1, 2, 3

LEG TWO

A very wide open race and you could easily select four to five runners and still miss the winner. SHAKE IT MAMA has been in outstanding form lately while SENSATIONAL GABBY was huge in defeat last week.

Selections: 3, 5, 7, 12

LEG THREE

Going one-out here with TEXICAN even though he is far from being a certainty. Drawn to lead from barrier one, driver Dexter Dunn has the chance to dictate terms to suit.

Selections: 1

LEG FOUR

Like Adam, I cannot split the big three – MUSTANG MACH, CARIBBEAN BLASTER and EXCEL STRIDE. BETTOR BET BLACK, courtesy of coming up with gate one, is capable of causing an upset while ABETTORPUNT can win but will need plenty of luck.

Selections: 1, 3, 4, 11, 12

Happy punting!
