Following a request from the connections of KARLOO KIX, HRNSW has lifted the standing down order placed upon that horse under Australian Harness racing Rule 183A.
The following reasons resulted in the lifting of this embargo prior to the commencement of the inquiry:
• That the inquiry has been scheduled for Tuesday, 20 March 2012, commencing at 11am, and Mr Lew has given an undertaking to be present.
• The delay in obtaining further analytical data, which is out of the control of the connections.
• HRNSW is still awaiting results of analytical tests conducted at its request.
Harness Racing NSW (HRNSW) is the controlling body for harness racing in New South Wales with responsibility for commercial and regulatory management of the industry including 31 racing clubs across the State. HRNSW is headed by an industry-appointed Board of Directors and is independent of Government.
