HRNSW is pleased to announce the addition of Veterinary Surgeon Martin Wainscott to its team.

Wainscott, who has vast equine experience, has taken up a full-time position assisting the HRNSW Regulatory Division and will attend approximately three meetings per week along with analysis and lab duties.

“I am looking forward to my role as I worked through the eighties and nineties in Sydney for a 12 year period,” said Wainscott

Following his work in the Hawkesbury area, Wainscott then experienced a five year stint in Auckland before his move to Macau for 16 years.

“I have worked a lot with the standardbred and harness racing in New South Wales has some exciting times ahead,” he said.

Wainscott will join Regulatory Manager Reid Sanders and Chairman of Stewards Bill Cable in protecting the integrity of the industry in New South Wales.

Harness Racing NSW (HRNSW) is the controlling body for harness racing in New South Wales with responsibility for commercial and regulatory management of the industry including 31 racing clubs across the State. HRNSW is headed by an industry-appointed Board of Directors and is independent of Government.
