Bremansa positive swab – Jack O'Shea

Stewards today received confirmation that the pre race blood sample taken from the pacer BREMANSA which raced at Bathurst on 17 August 2011 has returned an elevated TCO2 reading above the threshold.

Therefore, it is deemed to be a positive swab.

Trainer Jack O’Shea has been informed and BREMANSA has been stood down under Rule 183 pending the outcome of an Inquiry, to be held at 11:00am on Monday 29 August, 2011.
