NSW Harness Racing fans are licking their lips with champagne racing set down this weekend.

Tabcorp Park Menangle will feature two outstanding heats of the NSW Oaks on Friday night and Bulli will run the two finals of the Linden Huntley Little Memorial on Saturday night.

Heat one (race four) of the Oaks will feature Vertigal, Lively Moth, Bainfeild Washington and Victorian Breeders Crown winner Passions Promise for Jayne Davies and Chris Alford.

Heat two (race six) sees Davies and Alford combine again with the daughter of Tailamade Lombo in Aussie Made Lombo and Australasian mile record holder for fillies, Courageous Annie.

The meeting will also see the return of the David Braun-trained Pacific Playgirl. The mare stormed home from tail of the field to stop the clock at 1:51.8 for the mile, an Australasian mare’s record last Saturday night. She will take on slightly weaker grade in race two but is taking on open company.

The spotlight will turn to Bulli 24 hours later.

The final for the fillies looks a four gone conclusion for Andy and Kate Gath with Our Molly Finn. She was most impressive in the heat to record a final quarter of 28.6secs in a rate of 2:01.4 and should lead and win from the pole.

The colts and geldings look’s more open than the fillies.

Scandalman for Ian Wilson faced the breeze and scored a strong heat win but will contend with alley six.

Medal Of Honour was also strong in its heat with a final quarter of 28.0 but has drawn inside the second row whilst Dizzy Rascal, Pure Strength and Grand Stride all have the ability to take out the event.
