Australia?s glamour girl Ashlees Babe will start an odds-on favourite in Thursday night?s Victoria Oaks at Moonee Valley after drawing perfectly in barrier four.

Her luck at the fall of the marbles was in stark contrast to New Zealand?s prized filly Pullover Brown who must overcome barrier 13, directly outside another Geoff Small-trained finalist, Classical.

Since debuting in October last year, Ashlees Babe has won 16 of her 17 starts for New South Wales trainer-driver Peter Morris amassing stakes of $206,377.

After returning from her Queensland Oaks triumph, Ashlees Babe prevailed by a short-half-head over Pullover Brown in a thrilling Victoria Oaks heat last Thursday night. On that occasion the Kiwi raider drew barrier three and enjoyed a charmed run.

First heat winner Awesomely, a noted sit-sprinter, has drawn gate five for the 2570 metre Group 1 classic with third placegetter Dana Bromac claiming the coveted pole.

The field for the 53rd edition of the $50,000 Victoria Oaks, to be run at 9.28pm, is;
