Driver Shane Hayes today had his objection against an
eight week driving suspension dismissed by HRV's appeals panel.
Hayes was suspended by HRV stewards at Bendigo on 7
June under Rule 149(1) for failing to take all reasonable and permissible
measures to obtain the best possible finishing position on Lord Vader in the

As he's continued driving on a stay of proceedings,
Hayes' penalty will be effective from midnight tonight and expire at midnight
on 26 August.
