The Office Of Racing Integrity on Wednesday handed down their decision into an ongoing inquiry from the 2021 Tasmania Cup.

All parties involved in the protest, third and second against the winner, were informed after the protest on race night that the steward’s panel intended to consider AHRR174 at a further inquiry.

Appointed steward Ray Murrihy, under the powers of AHRR174, relegated Bullys Delight from first to 14th placing.

A detailed report of the decision can be found on the Office Of Racing Integrity Website.

Connections of Bullys Delight indicated that they would lodge an appeal against the decision with the Tasmanian Racing Appeal Board.

Last week we had a small but select meeting in Hobart on Friday where a state record tumbled before we went to Launceston for a competitive nights racing.

This week we race in Devonport on Friday night before Hobart on Sunday night, which will be the first Tier One meeting in the south since the Tasmania Cup meeting.
