WITH scratchings in tonight’s Group 3 Golden Guitar Final at Tamworth’s Carnival of Cups meeting, the race open as the market suggests.

The first emergency Ziggy Rocks has firmed into $4 with TAB Fixed Odds after gaining a run in the feature.

Meanwhile, Rocknlachlan is the favourite at $3.50 while three other runners are in single-figure odds.

Trainer Roy Roots Junior will be hoping to get success with Shadow Pass ($21) like he did in 2011 with Jasper Gold.

Fellow trainer Geoffrey Harding has two chances tonight with Rocknlachlan and The Choreographer and it was only in 2015 he last won the Golden Guitar Final with Strathlachlan Andy.

Driver Nathan Xuereb won the race in 2018 with Redbelly Jack and returns to try make his claim again tonight as the trainer-driver of Fifteen Aces.
