HOW can 17 fit into four…or 11 into two?

The answer to that is Australian Pacing Gold.

Seventeen is how many APG Sales graduates will compete in four Group Ones in Melton tonight.

Similarly, the 11 is the amount of APG purchases engaged in Group Two on the same program!

Beginning with two-year-olds, APG will be represented by nine runners in the pair of Breeders’ Crown Finals, including the short-priced favourites Be Happy Mach and Maajida.

Be Happy Mach is at $2 with TAB Fixed Odds despite his outside of the second row draw.

The son of Mach Three boasts the impeccable record of nine wins and a third from 10 starts.

Runner-up upon debut, Maajida has won her six subsequent outings, including her semi last weekend when she led throughout from barrier two.

The daughter of Somebeachsomewhere will begin from gate three in the Two-Year-Old Fillies’ Final, which has seen her posted as a $1.25 favourite with TAB Fixed Odds.

Eight three-year-old APG runners will line up in two Finals, with dual Derby winner Max Delight at $2.60 in his bid to add another Group One to his tally.

The Group Twos for four-year-olds will host 11 APG entries, with Rackemup Tigerpie widely tipped to win the entires’ and geldings’ division, while Nostra Villa appears to be a standout among the mares.

Australian Pacing Gold wishes the connections of each sales graduate all the best.
