Scheduled to be conducted at the Oakland Junction Sales Complex on March 10, APG's Australasian Premier Trotting Sale catalogue lists 80 quality yearlings.

Yet as they tell us in the infomercials “but wait there’s more”…!

A colt by the "super sire" Angus Hall, out of the Muscles Yankee mare, Yankee Stellar, has been added to the catalogue and will now feature as Lot 31A.

The only Angus Hall in the sale, the cross of Angus Hall over a Muscles Yankee mare has already produced Allerage Star ($415,488 prior to injury) in North America.  Adding to its appeal, Lot 31A's dam is a half-sister to three winners from four starters, including Group winner Majestic Ess Jay.

There is also good news for buyers interested in Meredith Castle's Dream Vacation yearling (Catalogued as Lot 8).

Noted as a filly in the printed catalogue (having been mistakenly registered by HRA as a filly), the athletic looking youngster is actually a colt, with the online catalogue updated to reflect the correct information.

This cracking colt is a half-brother to four winners, including the $200,000 earner, Iona Grinner, who's wins include the Group 2 NSW 4yo & 5yo Championship (he has also placed in numerous other Group Races, including the NSW Trotting Derby).

His dam, the former handy race mare, Meredith Castle is a half-sister to nine winners from 10 starters including one of Australasia's greatest trotting mares, the multuiple Group One winning La Coocaracha.

In addition to her outstanding ability on the racetrack, La Coocaracha has also proven to be a champion in the breeding shed, producing seven winners from eight starters including Group One stars Reina Danzante and Dance Crazed, which proved too good for Australasia’s leading trotters in the Great Southern Star a fortnight ago.

The full APTS catalogue, including the above important updates, can be viewed on the APG website by clicking here.

APG's online catalogue for the APTS, including photos & videos of all yearlings will be available via the APG website from Wednesday, 27 February.
