SA Yearling Sale this Sunday

The 2019 Allwood Stud Farm South Australian Yearling Sale, to be conducted by Harness Racing SA and SA BOTRA, will be held at the Magic Millions, Morphettvile on Sunday, starting at 12 noon.

The sale will be preceded by the Mitavite Parade at 10am with renowned equine judge Tanya Chapman.

The sale comprises 36 lots – 23 colts and 13 fillies - by 24 different stallions including the high-profile sires Bettor’s Delight, Somebeachsomewhere, Art Major and Captaintreacherous.

Other well-known stallions include Rock N Roll Heaven, Western Terror, Roll With Joe, Four Starzzz Shark, Mr Feelgood, Shadow Play, A Rocknroll Dance, Auckland Reactor, Betterthancheddar, Changeover, Lincoln Royal and Village Jolt, and the exciting newcomers Heston Blue Chip, Follow The Stars, Hurrikane Kingcole and The Gold Ace.

There’s close relatives to a string of top performers such as Stunin Cullen, Border Control, Fistfullofdollars, Gotanedge, Passions Delight, Village Of Dreams, Bella’s Delight, Saab, Endeared, Carvil’s Choice, Lauraella, Cornsilk, Ruffle My Feathers and many more.

The sale includes entries from leading breeders in New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and South Australia.

Yearlings are eligible for the Group 1 $100,000 The Allwood to be held in February 2020. They are also eligible for the Southern Cross, Breeders Crown, Vicbred, NSW Breeders Challenge, Bathurst Gold Crown, Westbred and QBred.

HRSA are accepting SAMOS vouchers valued up to $1600 for purchasers of fillies.
