APG Lot 114

IT IS often said owning a champion is akin to winning the Lottery.

Sure you can select the most common ‘numbered balls’ such as breeding and conformation, but it’s no guarantee they will combine for the jackpot!

Keeping that philosophy in mind, it has been decided to highlight a selection random number Lots in Sunday’s Ladbrokes Australian Pacing Gold Sale.

With 225 quality lots on offer the Melbourne is destined to provide a ‘division’ or two.

The line-up breaks down to 125 colts and 100 fillies by leading sires such as Art Major, Four Starzzz Shark, Mach Three, Rock N Roll Heaven, Shadow Play and Somebeachsomewhere just to name a handful.

Sire of last weekend’s top APG Brisbane colt, Captaintreacherous is also well-represented with a mixture of sons and daughters as is Roll With Joe, sire of the top Brisbane filly.

On the broodmare side of the families there are plenty of Group One winners and producers with athletic looking progeny ready to enter the Oaklands Junction Sales ring.
