On 17 December 2018, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) considered an application for review lodged by Ian Stewart regarding a decision of the Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on 27 July 2018. The decision of the HRV RAD Board can be found here.
Joshua Benson had also lodged an application for review regarding a decision of the HRV RAD Board on the same date, however Mr Benson withdrew this application prior to the hearing.
After initial submissions from Peter Jess, acting on behalf of Mr Stewart, and a short adjournment, VCAT Senior Member Robert Davis accepted a request from Mr Jess to withdraw the application.
