2018/19 UBet Country Cups Series

Harness Racing South Australia has announced that the format for the 2018/19 Country Cups series has been amended whereby in the coming season all races will be programmed as standing start, discretionary handicap events for horses assessed at C5 and faster. All races to be run over middle distances.

In making these changes HRSA believes that the migration of the Country Cups series to standing start events will provide enhanced opportunities for the horse population within the state.

The dates and distances of the events are listed below:

Friday 14th December 2018 – Strathalbyn (2,510m)

Monday 31st December 2018 – Victor Harbor (2,660m)

Saturday 19th January 2019 – Mount Gambier (2,580m)

Sunday 27th January 2019 – Kapunda (2,610m)

Saturday 23rd February 2019 – Gawler (2,645m)

Sunday 10th March 2019 – Kadina (2,530m)

Saturday 23rd March 2019 – Port Pirie (2,530m)

Sunday 31st March 2019 – Whyalla (2,360m)
