Horsham sends out a big invitation for Labour Day

Calling all owners, trainers, breeders, drivers and stablehands -  don’t miss the chance to have your horse racing at Horsham on Labour Day (Monday March 12).

It’s Decron Horse Care Noel Smith Memorial Invitation Drivers' Championship day and the Horsham club’s annual Harness Racing Industry Appreciation race meeting.

The program features four penalty free $7000 events for pacers assessed C2/3, C1 only, C0 only and 3C0 only with supports of a $5000 C4-6 Pace, $7000 2YO Pace, $7000 Trotters Handicap & $5000 Pace (C0 to C1) for horses which havenever been assessed faster than C1. And if those don’t suit there’s also an opportunity to enter for the $5000 supplementary contest.

But as they say in the classics that’s not all! 

If your horse is a final acceptor at Horsham you’ve got every chance to win products and merchandise courtesy of Decron Horse Care, Carbine Chemicals, Pryde’s Easifeed, Finn Tack, Hyland Racing Colours, Zilco, Bertocchi Smallgoods, Oringi Protection Wear, Mustad Australia, Fly Veils by Design, GrafxInc., Roma Pocock, Harness Breeders Victoria, Tabcorp Park Melton, Claire Weston Photography and Riverspa Apartments Moama.

All industry participants on course at the meeting are welcome to enjoy the designated hospitality area courtesy of the Victoria Trainer and Drivers Association. The Albenz Park Pony Trots will also make a welcome return to Horsham.

Nominations for the meeting close with HRV at noon on Wednesday, March 7
