FIVE Australian Pacing Gold purchases will do battle in Friday night’s Pink Bonnet at Tabcorp Park Menangle.

Having received a mixture of draws, the APG crew are Poser, Rollin With Holly, Schnappshot, Major Sensation and Chezmac.

Schnappshot, which will begin from barrier eight, is the most ‘experienced’, having scored upon debut before a luckless fourth at her subsequent outing.

Also triumphant at her maiden voyage to the races, Rollin With Holly will begin from gate three for trainer Darren Reay.

Pleased with the two-year-old’s progress during the past three weeks, which includes a trial win at Menangle, Reay is keen to see how well Rollin With Holly can perform against a solid field of fillies.

“So far she hasn’t set a foot wrong,” Reay said. “Everything has come natural to her and she’s been doing everything we’ve asked of her without any fuss.

“She’s won her two trials and won her first race, but this week will be tougher again as there are a few other fillies which have also looked good so far.”

Planning to give Rollin With Holly a light week following her pending engagement, Reay will then set the daughter of Roll With Joe for the Bathurst Gold Tiara and Australian Pacing Gold series.
