Interstate yearling buyers are looking like the winners even before the first lot walks into the ring for The Allwood Sale, which will take place at the Magic Millions Sales Complex, Morphettville, SA on Sunday the 11 February.

From day one, SA BOTRA,HRSA and HARNESSBRED.COM wanted to make it really clear that this would be a partnership between prospective buyers and some of the best  breeders and consignors in the country.

It’s with great pleasure we can announce today that Mel Bagnato of Bagnato horse transport has agreed to be available on the sales day to transport any yearlings back to Melbourne at a very competitive rate for the benefit  of the this very exciting event.

Mel will also provide a free service of taking these yearling back to his Adelaide property for a complimentary night’s stay and feeding before heading to Melbourne early Monday the 12th of February.

When we contacted Mel, he went on to say:

It’s really clear that this sale has the potential to change Harness Racing as we know it in the southern states of Australia.  I’m also of the view if we all work together on these ground breaking initiatives, Harness Racing the sport, will be a big winner ”
