MACKENZIE winning at Yonker's Raceway

AUSTRALIAN Pacing Gold has enjoyed a pair of international victories this weekend.

Amazingly, the pair are also Aussie-bred siblings from 2007 APG champion, Kept For Pleasure!

Exciting prospect Vincent was triumphant in New Zealand, while his half-sister Mackenzie scored at Yonkers.

First-up since last June, Vincent outclassed his older open class rivals to capture the Group Two Franklin Cup.

A triple Group One winner last season, the four-year-old stretched his record to 14 wins and two placings from 17 starts for earnings of $451,316.

Vincent is by award-winning sire Art Major, while his older sibling is a daughter of top stallion, Rock N Roll Heaven.

Boasting 10 wins and nine placings from 28 starts before leaving the southern hemisphere, Mackenzie has been a revelation in America, with her victories including last April’s $310,000 Matchmaker Final.

As for her latest win, Mackenzie overcame a wide draw to score in 1:54 on a cold, snowy track.

The Peter Tritton-trained five-year-old has won four of her last five starts, with 15 wins for the season.
