APG Graduates dominate WA juvenile Group Ones in 2018/19

Whilst APG Sales graduates are always to the fore in Western Australia's Group One juvenile races, they reached new heights in 2019, sweeping all seven juvenile Group One races in Western Australia.

Major Martini and Double Expresso both finished the season as dual Group One winners, capturing the colts and fillies divisions of both the Perth Sales Classics and Westbred finals.

Manning proved too strong in the Pearl Final Gr.1, whilst fellow APG Sales Graduates Askmeilltellya and Jaspervellabeach won the Diamond Classic Gr.1 and Golden Slipper Gr.1.

It wasn't only the two-year olds that shone, however, with former Perth Sale graduates Has No Fear taking home the WA Oaks Gr.1, whilst Shockwave captured the Golden Nugget Gr.1.

The great news for buyers is that the APG 2020 Perth Sales Catalogue clearly offers more maternal depth than either of the crops that dominated Western Australia's 2yo & 3yo races last season.

Given the outstanding maternal depth of this year's catalogue, we'd like to think that we'll be seeing plenty more of this year's crop when they hit the racetrack in 12 months time.
