AUSTRALIAN Pacing Gold purchase Max Delight has been crowned Tasmania Horse of the Year.

As an addition to the top gong, Max Delight also captured the Three-Year-Old Colt/Gelding of the Year Award.

The prestigious title was announced during the Tasmanian Harness Racing Awards and Hall of Fame dinner during the weekend.

Owned by Michael Maxfield, Max Delight’s stellar season including victories in the Tasmania and New South Wales Derbys and the Breeders Crown Final in Melton.

Prepared by David Aiken, the colt won nine of his 16 starts for the term, with three placings and $299,310 also to his credit.

Last month Max Delight was also named Australian Three-Year-Old Colt/Gelding of the Year.
