RE-RELEASE

ALLWOOD STUD 2020 SA YEARLING NON-SALE ENTRIES OPEN.

Following the outstanding success of this year’s inaugural running of `The Allwood’, Harness Racing SA again asks breeders to join us in celebrating Australia’s Greatest Value 2yo Race, and be part of this outstanding race concept by entering for the 2021 running of the $100,000 classic Group One feature - `The Allwood’.

Our mission, from the outset, has been to build strong industry partnerships, both at home here in SA, and with lovers of the harness racing sport right across the nation, and it is with considerable pleasure that I announce that the Allwood Stud 2020 SA Yearling Non-Sale entries are now open.

The Committee I represent, has again, capped the number of non-sale entries to just 40, and with previous callings being fully subscribed I urge you to complete your nomination early to avoid disappointment.

While the full terms and conditions will be made available very soon, please see some key points below.

  1. All South Australian bred or owned (75% or more must be residents of SA) yearlings will get the first opportunity to take up the 40 places in the non-sale entries, this exclusive offer expires on 1st September 2019.  No extensions of time will be granted.
  2. If any confirmed entry who takes up the payment plan and fails to make a payment by the due date, they will forfeit their entry, and any previous payments will not be refunded.
  3. No refunds will be made, even in the event where death occurs of any entry.
  4. Yearlings with Australian freeze brands can only enter this event.
  5. Non-Sale entries from this event can also be non-sales entries in the APG race series. Allwood Stud non-sale entries can be sold through the APG’s sales in 2020.
  6. The Committee will, at its full discretion, make the decision of which entries make it into the non-sale entries and those that will regrettably miss out.
  7. The race will be preferential draw for fillies.
  8. The Committee has the right to expand or contract the number of entries at any given time.

In closing, HRSA is committed to making `The Allwood’ a highlight, not only for South Australian harness racing, but also a focal-point on the national harness racing calendar. In consequence, `The Allwood’ is a race for the nation, and we encourage breeders and owners nationally to connect with us and assist in building on the great platform already created.
