VIC - Swimsuit Edition Scratching

The Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards advise that Swimsuit Edition has been scratched from the 'Lazarus Victoria Oaks Final (Group 1)' to be conducted at Tabcorp Park Melton this Saturday night.

Emma Stewart, trainer of Swimsuit Edition, reported to the HRV Integrity Department this morning that the filly collapsed whilst completing trackwork earlier, and subsequently passed away.

Swimsuit Edition has been transported to the University of Melbourne Veterinary Hospital for a necropsy to be performed.

Samples will also be attempted to be obtained from Swimsuit Edition for analysis by Racing Analytical Services Limited (RASL).
